Workshops and Training Sessions
The Mindful Leader Program
Amanda and her husband, Dr John Wood, co-facilitate this yearly 3-day public program. The Mindful Leader Program is designed for senior leaders to enhance their performance and well being using mindful and self awareness techniques. The program (with options for coaching and leadership assessment) provides techniques for investigating and developing attention, intention, perspective taking and new ways of being. The program has been running since 2009. For further details click here.
Other Workshops and Training Sessions
We can provide workshops and training sessions for interested groups or for employees. Workshops and training sessions can be tailored to your particular needs, and can be adapted to any particular time frame. As an example, we have provided workshops and training sessions for trauma education, dealing with trauma, dealing with grief and loss, mindfulness techniques, and self-care.
We are passionate about sharing information and strategies in relation to everything mental health and personal growth. So if you're looking for a guest speaker for your next function or event, maybe we could help.
Employee Assistance Programs
We provide Employee Assistance Programs (EAPs) to a range of small and medium sized businesses. An EAP is a work-based intervention program designed to enhance the emotional, mental and general psychological wellbeing of all employees (EAPs can also include services for immediate family members). EAPs are designed to provide preventative and proactive interventions for the early detection and/or resolution of both work and personal challenges. If these challenges are not addressed, they may adversely affect employee performance and wellbeing. These challenges can include depression; anxiety; trauma; relationships; substance abuse, gambling and other addictions; financial problems; legal problems; communication problems; and coping with change. EAPs can be tailored to your specific organisational needs.
